Our daily shuttle departs Nairobi at 8:00 AM sharp and arrives in Moshi, Tanzania by late afternoon. The route covers roughly 400 kilometers through Kenyan farmland, the Athi Plains, and into Tanzania at the Namanga border. From there, it is a straight run toward the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The journey takes about 7 to 8 hours, including the border stop. At Namanga, you will clear immigration on foot. Have your passport, visa or e-visa confirmation, and yellow fever certificate ready. The process usually takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic at the border.

Our shuttle buses are Toyota Coaster and HiAce models with reclining leather seats, air conditioning, USB charging, and plenty of luggage space. We stop once for a bathroom and snack break in a safe town along the way.

Pack light snacks, water, a travel pillow, and a jacket — the bus can get cool. Keep your passport and valuables in a small bag you carry with you during the border crossing. Luggage stays locked on the bus under the driver's watch.

The Nairobi to Moshi shuttle costs $35 per person one way. It is the most reliable and comfortable way to travel between the two cities, especially if you are heading to climb Kilimanjaro or explore Arusha. Book at least 24 hours in advance to secure your seat.
